Austin the Artist:
Austin Howell Waychoff is a professional visual artist specializing in handmade products, paintings, drawings, and digital art. She is the Artist and Owner of Austin Waychoff Studio LLC.
She explores the power art holds to portray a playful narrative, spark conversations, and create community. Her artwork combines thrilling color, dynamic mark-making, and powerful interactions of subjects.
Austin was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, surrounded by creative family and friends that supported and inspired her love of Art and Art History.
She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History / Art Studio as well as her Master of Arts degree in Art Education from The Cleveland Institute of Art and Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, Ohio). A licensed Multi-Age (PreK-12th) Visual Arts Specialist, Austin spent 12 years teaching Visual Art & Media courses to students and adults of all ages.
After 12 years as Teacher, Austin has now shifted her focus full time to her small business and studio creations!
She currently has a studio in Charleston, SC frequented by her hilarious cats: Marshmallow, Turbo, & Booster, and her awesome hubby.
